The health tools on this site, including the protein calculator, bedtime planner, sleep apnea screener, heart numbers checker, screening checklist, and mental health check-in, run entirely in your web browser. Nothing you enter is sent to us or stored by us. When you close or reload the page, your answers are gone.
We don't use advertising pixels or tracking cookies, and we don't build profiles of visitors.
If you subscribe, your email address is stored by Kit, the email service we use to send the newsletter. We use it only to send the newsletter and closely related messages, such as a welcome email or a downloadable resource you asked for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from future sends.
If you contact us, we receive the name, email address, and message you send, through the form service we use. We use it only to reply and to act on your message, such as a correction. Please don't include personal health details in your message.
We use Plausible Analytics to see which pages people read, which sites send visitors here, and roughly where readers are, so we know what's useful. Plausible doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across other websites. It uses your IP address only briefly, to estimate your approximate location (country, region, and city) and to count unique visits with a code that changes daily, and it doesn't store your IP address. We see only totals, such as page views, referring sites, device types, and approximate locations. Newsletter signups are counted the same way, as a number, without your email address. We also count clicks on links that leave our site (for example, to a provider's website), recording only the page the link was on and the site it points to, so we can see which information is useful. Nothing you enter into our health tools is ever included.
Like nearly every website, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, in server logs used for security and reliability.
We don't sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the newsletter, contact form, and visit statistics, as described above, or if required by law.
This site is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. To ask about, correct, or delete information you've sent us, email info@menshealthatlas.com or use our contact page.
If we change how we handle information, for example by changing analytics providers, we'll update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
